Kim is a multiple award-winning journalist with a Hervey Award, Charlie Silver Award and a Hervey runner-up award; all for excellence in magazine writing. She obtained her BA in Journalism from The Ohio State University & is currently completing her Masters Degree in Film at Tiffin University.
With 38 years of journalistic experience, she excels in feature writing, photography, non-fiction books, magazine design, press releases, web design & maintenance.
Kim currently is the Ohio Standardbred Development Fund Administrator, managing the $8.5 million Ohio Sires Stakes for the Ohio State Racing Commission.
Kimberly is also an avid horsewoman, who has competed in the hunter jumper, dressage, eventing and competitive trail riding ranks. She is a USTA-licensed trainer-driver of Standardbred racehorses who represented the United States in the 1995 International Drivers Competition in Moscow, Russia. She formerly trained racehorses in Chicago, holds a 4-H & Open Horse Show Judges License, and is a member of the following organizations:
